The Sovereign is a bold design, offering a substantial feel without the extra width of our chunkiest collars. Similarly sized to the Cascade Narrow, it’s suitable for a wide range of dogs, both comfortable and secure for smaller/mid sized pups, through to larger breeds.
A distinctive three‑colour arrow pattern runs through the centre of the weave, creating a clean, striking line of alternating shades. Available in our carefully selected core-collection colourways, the Sovereign brings a refined, confident look to your dog's everyday wear.
About our collars:
Every Big Green Hound collar is handcrafted to order in our Devon studio, ensuring quality, strength and a reliable fit. The Sovereign is made from standard Type 3 paracord, tightly knotted for durability and flexibility. Each collar is finished with a complementary BioThane adapter and strong metal hardware for a polished, long‑lasting result.
Collar measurements:
This collar is made from standard Type 3 paracord (4mm diameter cord).
The finished collar is approx 2.5cm wide and 1cm thick. As each piece is handmade, please allow for small tolerances (+/‑ 2mm) on these measurements.
Suitable for most small/mid sized dogs to large breeds. May be too wide or weighty for petite breeds.
Fitting guidance:
Please provide your dog’s measured neck circumference for an accurate fit. Your collar will be made to this size on the middle hole of the adapter, giving a few centimetres of adjustment either side for a secure and comfortable fit. For best results, please refer to our measuring guide. We are unable to accept returns for collars that do not fit due to incorrect measurements.
Sizing Information
Because paracord collars vary in thickness, measuring a collar flat will not give the correct neck size. Therefore, please measure your dogs neck rather than their existing collar, as this will give a more accurate measurement. Using a fabric tape measure, measure around the point of the neck where their collar usually sits, allowing for two fingers width to fit snugly under the tape. All sizing is checked before dispatch. This will be done with the collar done up for accuracy.

Caring for your collar
We advise handwashing in warm water with a mild detergent or machine washing at 30° in a laundry bag (or pillowcase if you don't have one!) to protect your machine and the hardware.
To prolong the life of the hardware we recommend drying the buckle and rings after washing or if it gets wet, especially after contact with sea water, which can cause corrosion.
Although the materials are very tough, nothing is indestructable! Never allow your dog to chew their collar or lead.
Keep away from fire.
Processing Times
This is a handmade product and as such, the processing time can be up to 3 weeks, although we reserve the right to extend the processing times during times of high order volume. We will endeavor to create your order as quickly as possible in all cases, however please note that choosing express delivery on handmade products will only expedite the delivery time and not the processing time.

Returns Policy
As all our collars are handmade to order, we only offer refunds or exchanges on faulty items. We do not cover damage caused by misuse, biting or scratching, wear and tear, cosmetic issues or failure due to a lack of appropriate maintenance.
All collars are measured before dispatch and as such we cannot offer refunds or exchanges on collars which do not fit as a result of incorrect neck measurements. Please see "Sizing Information" for more details.
Please also note that as all of these collars are handmade they may differ slightly in appearance. There may also be slight variations in colour due to the display of photos on your screen.
